  • Real estate contracts: Although recommended to consult with a lawyer prior to signing a real estate purchase agreement or other real estate contract, I also review contracts in the immediate days following a contract signing. I ensure that my client's interests are protected in the event that problems arise.
  • Real estate transactions: I represent clients through buy-sell agreements and explain exactly what the contract calls for. I ensure my client understands the provisions of the contract, such as how money is held in escrow. Additionally, I ensure that clients are aware of their legal rights as a buyer, such as to obtain a private inspection immediately or to select a title insurance company that the realtor does not have interests in.
  • Property defects and property disputes: I assist clients in resolving disputes regarding property defects, such as flooding issues, mold issues, and other undisclosed defects. Additionally, I work to resolve border disputes and easement disputes.
